Steinbach, Manitoba, IP Camera Install

In the summer of 2023 Swift installed IP cameras around the exterior of the large trucking facility. Communication lines were horizontal directionally drilled in place with fibre interconnecting the POE switching hardware to provide a great long term connectivity solution.

Steinbach, Manitoba, Building Ground Water Removal LDP Install

Swift Underground completed the installation of perforated pipes underneath the Rasthaven Manor for the removal of high ground water by directionally drililng under the existing foundation and piles. The ground water was contained in a concrete collection pit to be removed from site via pumps. The completion of this project on a tight fall schedule allowed for the paving of the working site into a parking lot prior to freeze-up.

Grunthal, Manitoba, FTTH to 850 homes

In Spring of 2022 we started and completed construction in Grunthal, MB. Despite the high concentration of rocky underground challenges, we completed over 18,000 metres of mainline fibre in three months. Thanks to strategic designs and a phased approach, we were able to deliver usable fibre optic internet to homes before the project's completion while mainline construction continued in other parts of the community.

La Broquerie, Manitoba, Transport Fibre Ring

A partnership project with the Hanover School Division included constructing 58km of fibre to provide their 68km fibre network with a geo-diverse fibre path and to bring online their last school fed by wireless services.

Mitchell, Manitoba, MTI Crosswalk Installation

Swift completed an MTI crosswalk installation in Mitchell, MB.

Lockport, Manitoba, Lower Fort Garry Drainage

Swift's hydrovac trucks gently excavated a large draining trench around a Lower Fort Garry turret to allow for the installation of draining infrastructure.
